LOS ANGELES — The Los Angeles Dodgers are preparing for one of the most ambitious infrastructure projects in franchise history, with a comprehensive plan to upgrade Dodger Stadium carrying a total investment of up to $1.8 billion.
The project is designed to bring one of MLB’s most iconic ballparks into a new era while preserving the historic mid-century modern character that has defined Dodger Stadium since it opened in 1962.
For the Dodgers, this is not simply a plan to renovate a stadium. It is a long-term investment in the future of the franchise, the fan experience, and Dodger Stadium’s place in Los Angeles’ sports and cultural landscape.
One of the biggest priorities of the plan is improving the facilities inside the ballpark. The Dodgers are expected to carry out structural reinforcement projects, expand the concourses, comprehensively upgrade the restroom system, and improve seating quality in multiple areas.
