Manhattan Beach, California – Cameron Jordan, one of the most dominant and consistent edge rushers in NFL history with 8 Pro Bowl selections and 3 All-Pro honors, has officially parted ways with the New Orleans Saints after 15 seasons with the franchise.
The Saints decided not to offer him a new long-term contract, opening the door for Jordan to become a free agent for the first time in his NFL career.
Jordan’s next move immediately created massive buzz after reports surfaced that he rented a luxurious $500,000 apartment in Manhattan Beach, California. Fans quickly began speculating that he is preparing to join the Los Angeles Rams.
Jordan spent his entire NFL career with the Saints after being selected in the first round with the 24th overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft. He became the cornerstone of the Saints defense for 15 seasons, served as a defensive captain nine different times, and remains the franchise’s all-time leader in sacks.

Jordan owns 8 Pro Bowl selections, the most ever by a defensive player in Saints history. He earned First Team All-Pro honors in 2017 along with Second Team All-Pro selections in 2018 and 2019. He was also named to the NFL 2010s All-Decade Team.
However, due to salary cap pressure and changes in organizational direction, the Saints ultimately decided not to continue their partnership with Jordan. That immediately made him one of the top veteran edge rushers available on the free agent market.
Shortly after becoming a free agent, Jordan drew major attention after renting a luxury apartment in Manhattan Beach, California — an upscale coastal city located just minutes from SoFi Stadium and the Rams’ facilities.

That decision instantly caused fans and NFL analysts to believe Jordan may have already reached an agreement with the Los Angeles Rams or could be close to signing with the team. Manhattan Beach is widely known as one of the most popular residential areas for Rams players and NFL athletes in Southern California. Jordan’s choice to settle there has only intensified speculation surrounding a possible reunion with head coach Sean McVay.
Although there has still been no official announcement regarding Jordan signing with the Rams, his free agent status combined with the decision to rent property in the heart of Rams territory has convinced many people this could be his next destination.
With the Rams continuing to search for additional pass rush help and veteran defensive leadership, Jordan’s experience and locker room presence would be viewed as an extremely valuable addition.
No matter where he ultimately lands, Cameron Jordan’s legendary NFL career is clearly not over yet.
